Robert T. Perry

Since graduating from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School in 1983, Robert T. Perry, senior partner in the law firm of Perry, Perry & Perry, PA, has practiced in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation law. He prides himself as having tried more personal injury and workers' compensation cases than any other plaintiff attorney in Durham within the past 30 years – obtaining successful verdicts in most of the cases.

 

Prior to law school, Robert taught at Northern Middle School in Roxboro, North Carolina, having obtained bachelor's and master's degrees in health and physical education from Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) and North Carolina Central University (NCCU) respectively. Between his studies at ECSU and NCCU, Robert served his country as an officer in the United States Marine Corps between the years of 1974-1977, having obtained the rank of first lieutenant upon his honorable discharge.

 

While a student at ECSU, Robert met and married Willoree Lawson Perry. Robert and Willoree have five children, all of whom have graduated from major universities. Robert is an avid golfer and continues to enjoy the game today.

John Wesley Perry is a partner in the law firm of Perry, Perry & Perry, PA and serves as the vice-president of the firm. Mr. Perry has extensive experience in the areas of real estate, wills and estates, and personal injury.


Mr. Perry is a native of Durham and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina, in 1985. Mr. Perry received his juris doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1991.


Mr. Perry is very active in the community. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Central North Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross, Antioch Builds Community, and the Durham (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.


Mr. Perry has served as Polemarch, Vice-Polemarch and Keeper of Exchequer of the Durham (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is also a member of the Alpha Tau Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He is an avid golfer and coaches little league baseball. Mr. Perry is married to Kathy Everett-Perry, and they have two children.

Alexander S. Perry

Alexander Stephen Perry, a partner in the law firm of Perry, Perry & Perry, PA, is a dedicated and experienced attorney who fights aggressively and intelligently for his clients. Mr. Perry has experience in personal injury that results from catastrophic auto accidents, commercial vehicle accidents, dog bites, premises liability and medical malpractice. Mr. Perry also has extensive experience in family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, child custody and child support.


Mr. Perry is a lifelong resident of North Carolina. He was born in Raleigh and raised in Durham, North Carolina. In 1989, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 1993, Mr. Perry earned his juris doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, N.C.


Mr. Perry has an active life outside of the practice of law. He is affiliated with a variety of church, professional and civic organizations, including the North Carolina Bar Association, the South Durham Little League Board of Directors and serves as the Truancy Court Judge for Rogers-Herr Middle School. Additionally, he serves as co-chair of the Lawrence and Artelia Perry Scholarship Fund that benefits the students of Livingstone College, North Carolina Central University and Bennett College for Women. Mr. Perry is a member of St. Mark A.M.E. Zion Church, where he is a member of the Gladden-Herndon Usher Board and the St. Mark A. M. E. Zion Gleaners Club.


Mr. Perry enjoys watching and playing all types of sports. He especially enjoys coaching baseball and an occasional round of golf. Being the youngest of sixteen children, he enjoys interacting and socializing with his brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives. Mr. Perry is married to his law school sweetheart Nichelle “Nikki” Perry, and they have two sons.
